The Tenth International Workshop on Slow Positron Beam Techniques for Solids and Surfaces

The Tenth International Workshop on Slow Positron Beam Techniques for Solids and Surfaces (SLOPOS-10) will be hosted by The Scientific and Applied Research Centre (SARC).

The scientific part of the workshop will be held at the University of Qatar on 19th -25th March 2005.

 Tentative List of Scientific Topics to be covered

Ø      Positron beam development and design.

Ø      Developments in experimental and analytical techniques.

Ø      Defect profiling in bulk and layered structures.

Ø      Positron defect interactions and defect studies.

Ø      Positron processes; thermalization, implantation, Ps formation, etc.

Ø      Surface modification and coatings.

Ø      Positronic and other surface processes.
