The Tenth International Workshop on Slow Positron Beam Techniques for Solids and Surfaces

The Tenth International Workshop on Slow Positron Beam Techniques for Solids and Surfaces (SLOPOS-10) will be hosted by The Scientific and Applied Research Centre (SARC).

The scientific part of the workshop will be held at the University of Qatar on 19th -25th March 2005.

The scientific program will be organized and consisted of oral and poster sessions to present and discuss the scientific papers contributed by the participants. Round table discussions between the participants about the latest research findings and results in this quickly advancing field will also be included. Moreover, keynote lectures will be given by several international invited speakers.

A table-top exhibition will run during the conference duration by companies in related fields such as, vacuum technology, nuclear instruments, electronics, and data acquisition DAQ.

Beside the scientific programme and the exhibitions, there will be an associated social programme including a welcome reception, an excursion and a banquet. Those should be aimed at introducing guests to our rich culture and local traditions ranging from food to handicrafts etc.
