We are planning
to close the year’s celebrations by holding a general
physics conference during December, for two days 14th
& 15th December, which will be attended by all
enthusiastic physics professionals, teachers and students.
It will help raise the profile of physics in Qatar and
emphasize its importance. We are hoping to get as many
organisations as possible to participate; such as
educational institutions and schools, medical institutions,
science clubs, cultural centers, museums, etc.
We invite you to
participate in this event by attending and/or presenting.

Conference
Programme:
The conference
programme has been assembled from academia, medicine.
Exhibitions, activities and lectures will be presented.
The contributed oral
programme has been organised into a number of technical
sessions which reflect the current focus of activities
within the physics community. These sessions include
round table discussions on ”Physics education in Qatar”,
“The need for a Qatar Physics Society”.

البرنامج
مؤتمر قطر الأول للفيزياء يحضره ويشارك به كل من له علاقة
بالفيزياء في الدولة وستقوم الجامعة بتوفير المكان المناسب
لانعقاد المؤتمر ودعوة جميع المختصين واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة
وذلك بمجهود من طالبات وخريجات الفيزياء وإشراف بعض أعضاء هيئة
التدريس بقسم الرياضيات والفيزياء. وسيعقد المؤتمر في يومي 14
و 15 من شهر ديسمبر 2005 ليتم به اختتام العام الدولي للفيزياء
في دولة قطر والارتقاء
بمستوى العلوم في قطر.
ونحن ندعو جميع من يعمل بالفيزياء أو له صلة
بها للتقدم بالمشاركة في
فعاليات المؤتمر بالوسيلة التي يراها مناسبة ونحثكم على القيام
بالتسجيل للحضور أوالمشاركة قبل يوم 26/11/2005 حتى نتمكن من
وضع البرنامج النهائي للمؤتمر. نحن نرحب بأفكاركم ومقترحاتكم
للبرنامج والفعاليات التي ينبغي أن يحتوي عليه المؤتمر أو التي
